Just got my parts together for my 4th build, and the spring for my mag catch and one end of the spring is flared so it will not fit into the hole in the side of the lower, is this normal, didnt happen on my previous builds...

EDIT: Nevemind I forced the little Ba$t@rd in there, it makes sense too now when I drop the catch while banging on it wont fly across the room...  

EDIT: Thanks,(see post below, my stupidity doesnt need a bump...), the last two lowers that I did had the triggers assembled, but I should have known, it is fixed and everything it working just fine.

The tapered spring is the disconnecter spring not the bolt catch release spring. You are almost certain to have issues if these two springs are reversed (most likely with the disconnecter). The mag release spring should be long, slender, cylindrical and the fattest of the springs.
