| Whats the best way to prevent scratches on your mags???I have some nice telfon mag that I dont want to get all scratched up.... Has anyone tried putting tape or such on the mag? |
I do agree, once you get a hundred or so like a lot of us here, a scratch is not worth losing any sleep over. |
First, let me just say welcome! ![]() Second, prepare to be pounced on by quite a few people here. |

You sir should not own a weapon if this is a worry. Go by a book and look at all the pretty little pictures. My GOD man these are weapons!!!!!!!! and are meant o be used!!!! Put a freaking rubber on them for all I care but they will not be cherry once you pop them.

The AWB has caused us all to be anal about mags. Did you know that originally the M16 mag was intended to be shipped out loaded, and discarded when empty? It was to be expendable, like cardboard boxes and stripper clips. Now we guard them like they are made of gold. If it makes you feel better, I just now tossed a bunch of used springs and beat-to-hell floorplates. |
Really? rubbers work that good on those huh? I thought that I should use some KY in addition to it. Maybe it'll preserve the finish for after the AWB goes back into effect[rofl} |
