According to their Facebook page, they are accepting preorders now.
Depending on the strength and tolerances, there is a huge potential win here for lightweight builds. I know a lot of guys are begging for a version without the forward assist. Between the Magnesium lower and upper, you have a potential weight savings of approximately half a pound. Couple this with a BCM Magnesium keymod rail system and a lightweight barrel option, and you can easily build a solid carbine that is in the upper 5lb to low 6lb range loaded. |
