[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mag catch problem

My fully loaded 30 rd. mag doesn't want to catch in the mag well when the bolt is closed. Any ideas? Can this be fixed or adjusted so this doesn't happen?

Will it catch with 29 in the mag? Or 28?

How much force are you putting behind the mag when you insert it? Fully loaded mags sometimes need a stern smack to get them to seat.

KY on the Mag? Make sure to pet and talk to the AR ahead of time. Trying to insert the mag too early isn't fun for either of you.
