Will the standard Mag hold the heavier bullets. I Heard they were longer and had to be fed one at a time. Is this true

yes a standard mag will hold the 70 grains...okay okay...yes it will hold the heavier bullets and btw single loading an AR by pulling back the CH and feeding it through the ejection port is bad ju ju from what I have heard

IIRC up to 77Gr, depending on the load.

I know that Hornady 75gr TAP will fit fine.

Single loading is no worse than mag loading. The extractor still has to jump the rim either way. It's not like a blowback handgun where the round can slide under the extractor.

Yep and the 75gr A-Max (plastic tipped) bullets need to be single loaded.

The 75gr TAP (OTM) feed fine from a standard magazine.
