Does anyone know where I can get some AR magazine boxes? You know the ones that hold one single magazine.

Does anyone know the inside dimensions of these boxes? I need to organize my mags somehow. Right now they're just tossed in an ammo can.

It would help to know if you're looking for 20 or 30rd magazine boxes & whether you're looking for single serve versions or...?  I have some O-Kay 30rd mags that came single packed in a box but they are 30 miles away at the moment.

LMK what you're looking for & if no one else posts the info I'll see what I can do.

I'm looking for 30 rd mag box dimensions. Single magazine boxes. No hurry about the dimensions.

Sorry, I've been massively busy @ work as well as negotiating access to my family's land that I neglected to grab a box from home to measure. (Besides, I need time to surf ARFcom!) So again, my mag boxes are 30 miles away... Maybe tomorrow or next week.

Anybody got the dims handy?

no problem, no hurry. I just want to get these ordered in the next month or so.

Rich,

Is this what you are looking for?  These are GI Issue O-Kay Mag boxes that came from the supply room.

Dimensions are L: 7.25"  W: 3"  H: 7/8"

The thickness of the paperboard box is 0.020".

Who are you going to order boxes through???  I would love to store my new mags in these boxes, especially the teflon coated mags that do not come individually wrapped.
Please let us know!!!

I have a friend that has a friend who works for a company that makes custom boxes, etc. so I'm going to have some made if they can be done for a reasonable price.

If they are reasonable in price please post back.  I've been looking for some boxes to pack .300 Win mag in close, i.e. no dividers and alternated orientation.  I could figure out the dimensions.
Or, I could get off my lazy ass and get some cardboard and glue and make my own.

Will do, I'm hoping to get a hold of him tommorow and hopefully have a price quote from him within a day or two of that.

I'm looking at a source for several types of boxes... would you ask your friend to e-mail me if his company can do this sort of thing?

 Thanks

My friends company wasn't able to do it but I got a quote from another manufacturer.

The price would be:
$.50 each if a total of 500 were ordered.
$.44 each if a total of 1000 were ordered.

All prices plus shipping. The more ordered the lower the price would go. I'm not sure how much interest there is for these but I'm going to be ordering some for myself anyways.

Just an observation, I think your prices above are tranposed? (The more ordered, the more they cost)

You are correct, I forgot to add a "0" after the 100, I'll correct that.

I just sent Okay an email asking if I could order some of their boxes directly from them; or if they could put me in touch with the manufacturer of their boxes.  I'll let you know IF I hear back from them tomorrow!

Hell Im in for 2.
Actually...  I may be interested in at least 50 of them.

Hell!  set up a group buy!

I would take many as well. Probably 50.

A group buy would be a good idea, but someone else would have to set it up since I'm not a Team Member.

Why not spend that $250 on more mags instead of $250 on cardboard

If your so worried get some of those high quality zip lock mag bags. They fit mags PERFECTLY and are only about $0.10 each.
