I finally got to function test my magazines that I bought a while back.  They seem to work OK for the most part, except that they (both the 20 and 30 rounders) seem to let the last round fly loose, locking the bolt open with a live round sitting in front of the bolt.  The round isn't chambered or jamming.... the magazine seems to be letting it fly loose.  Also, all three magazines that I have now have wear marks on the right lip.  Do I just have junk magazines, or is there another problem?

They have no markings, so I don't know who made them.

Here's a pic before I used them:

i have those same mags. i also am haveing problems with them. my feed lips are a little out of spec. one side is higher than the other. do your followers seem too tight to move freely? i ordered some orange followers and will see if that helps. i will get back to you.

Followers seem to be tight, but move OK.  Netflix was great while I had it.... burned like 50 DVD's, and ran out of stuff to order and canceled it.

The problem you describe (the mag not being able to hold on to the last mag) is a feedlip issue.  With 30-round mags, this usually means that the mag halves were not properly aligned when they were welded together, so that one feedlip is slightly higher than the other.  If you put just one round in the mag, it should fit snug under the feedlip, against the wall of the mag.  If it wants to pop out towards the centerline of the mag, that's a problem.  Unfortunately, there's no easy fix, other than replacing the mag.
