My brother has a Smith and Wesson .308 AR.  He wants some extra mags.  Any that you recommend or advise against?

Thanks.  I will order some for him.  I figured they would be good, but since I have never owned or shot the 308 version of the AR, I wanted to ask.

They come in 10, 20 and 25 round.  I have only used 10 and 20...though I have a 25...just ain't used it yet.

I don''t have wide experience with AR mags because I have never used anything but PMAGS. I also would not use anything else. We have guys jumping out of airplanes in bad places who buy these mags with their own money and trust their lives to them.
Best wishes for rapid insertion, relable action and no failures to fire.

Go Lancer. Cannot go wrong with them. Best of both worlds.

Lancer L7AWMs are supposed to be pretty awesome, but I haven't personally used them.

Lancers look sweet, but do they warrant the extra keish over the Pmags? I dont have a 308 to buy mags for yet, but when that time comes I will probably gorge myself on some Pmags.
