Just buy Okay mags.
They are the people that make Colt mags.
The only difference is the markings and the price.

I would recommend getting USGI mags listed in the Mag Brand Rankings FAQ thread.

I've had good luck with Colt (same company as Universal Industries/ Okay Industries/ NHMTG) and D&H  (same company as La Belle/ General Stamping).

Shop around for the best prices at the Equipment Exchange section and make sure you fully test the new mags and return for exchange any rare bad mags, get about 20 mags for your carbine.

I met this guy at the gun show in phx www.afmfirearms.com and bought a couple of brand new mags from them.  They have the new magpul followers and springs and do not stick or tilt at all.  His price at the show was pretty descent.

HK Mags at least until the PMags are out. USGI mags work fine but are not that durable.

Just a quick comment about AR-15 mags in general.

The market is going to get tighter.  No need for panic or alarm but the wise will begin to plan, budget and to acquire AR15 mags.
