Hello all,
FNG here looking to ask a question.  I have a spike's tacical AR with an aimpoint M3 optic.  I am a casual shooter and was looking to reach alittle further with the weapon.  Should I stick with getting a magnifier or I was looking at a Milllet DMS.  I understand that at the low setting in the DMS is similar to the aimpoint.
So what are your thoughts.    Thanks a head of time.

I have a DMS and sometimes it seems a little blurry or too busy.  May just be my astygmatism and age of my eyes.  Wish I could try horseshoe reticle to compare.

La Rue Tactical makes some awesome quick release mounts so I tend to have more than one optic set up to work on my rifle.  A dot is fine but there are times when having a traditional optic is more desirable.  I find that I really like the  3x compact ACOG  but I also have a La Rue mount with a 6x42 Super Sniper mounted which is a nice power range as it is low enough to hand hold or to get onto a target well under 100 yds but plenty of scope to get out several hundred yards if need be.  The 3-9x42 Super Sniper is even nicer but a tad more espensive.
