I am debating about magnifier option on my SBR. I have an Aimpoint m4s and I love it. I am thinking about 3x, but having SBR with magnification doesn't  make a whole lot of sense to me. Am I wrong? ;)

You'd have to get a new mount to magnify it too

I have a lot of Aimpoints, and one Aimpoint magnifier. I almost never use the magnifier, yet I wont sell it. I think it is a useful addition to have. It's small, lightweight and when paired with a good mount (like the LaRue) is about bomb proof. Looking through a total of four lenses, the view is less than stellar, but when you can't make out a target, or see a definitive aiming point on a target you might be able to see, the magnifier adds ability to your Aimpoint (or EoTech for that matter). I like them.

If you decide to get one, all you'll have to do is replace the spacer in your existing mount with Aimpoint cantilever spacer.

I have a EOTech magnifier, I use it behind a EOTech and a Aimpoint Micro. On two different guns. Works great for both. Mainly use it on a M&P 15-22 that has a Aimpoint Micro......... Great for popping birds, rabbits, squirrels.... etc. I love the magnifier, and as mentioned above; One suits all red dots!
