I am looking to buy the new Magpul ASAP sling adapter, but there appears to be two different versions. Do all of the versions have the protrusion on each side that wrap around the receiver to keep the plate from swiveling from side to side? Some pictures look like they are there, while others look like they are missing. Any idea if it's just the pics, or are there actually two different versions.

Thanks! i think they all have that to keep it stable. i haven't seen one without it yet. i know mine has it. |

Probably one has the ring to slide around...and one doesn't. The one that doesn't would just be a loop, like this one. |
