I'd like to add this to my carbine but I'm afraid of cracking the recevier.
1.) How does the pin that has only one way in come out? Is it spring loaded? Do I tap out the one roll pin completely out and yank that one out? Help, please. 2.) Can I put that area of the recevier on a sandbag and tap the pin(s) out? Or, how do I do it without cracking the recevier? |

Get the right size punch and just drive it out. You'll want to support the area around the rear of the trigger guard (only pin to drive out). Block of wood will work.
The front is a spring loaded affair to lower the trigger guard for gloves. Just push it in with same punch and pull down on the old TG. The replacement part for the front on the Mgpul is a set screw that comes with the new trigger guard along with the hex key for it as well as a new roll pin. |

(like I posted in the VA HTF thread) fast forward to 2:49 in this spiffy video from Arfcom's own, DVDTracker ETA: just noticed that at 3:52, there's a requisite "toe-shot"
