I just finished up my 300blk build. Installed the Magpul K2 grip. and it doesnt want to be aligned properly. The beavertail part of it, there is a gap where the end plate is and the beavertail and lower receiver area....... Is this normal? I've installed other Magpul grips before (MOE) never the K2 with the beaver tail.

That gap is normal and I've yet to see a receiver where a K2 doesn't have that gap. Nothing to worry about, the beavertail is there to lower your hand placement and realign your trigger finger to point straighter (as it should be) for that grip angle. The beavertail is thick enough that it won't flex or distort on you. You'll quickly forget that gap when you fire it and realize how much better that grip feels!
