Ok. I have a couple of questions concerning the Magpul BUS

1) What is the differnce between the regular BUS and the PTS? Generally I know that the PTS is for Airsoft
2) I currently have a Matech Rear byus adjustable to 600 Meters. Which one do you prefer?
3) Would it be better to just install rear MBUS or should I get rid of the factory fron sight tree? I heard its a pain to remove. I wonder if its worth it.
4) Magpul states the front sight is adjustable for elevation? I thought you only mess with the front sight in conjuction with the A2 8/3 setting?
5) If you can adjust elevation with Magpul front sight is it easier than using standard front sight tree and Matech rear BUS
6) They often talk about BUS being cowitness with your optic. With my ACOG my BUS is underneath of ACOG due to it being flush with my charging handle thus I cane not deploy my BUS unless I remove ACOG. If I move Acog further down the rail to accomodate co witnessing  I can't get a good sight picture. Is this normal?

Dunno on the MBUS - some say it's a different plastic - but on their handguards, for instance, the PTS ones don't have heatshields.

2) I currently have a Matech Rear byus adjustable to 600 Meters. Which one do you prefer?

Depends on your use.  The Matech's got it's problems and plusses, but I'd probably prefer the MBUS for my uses, due to dual apertures, lower folded height, and hopefully more reliable design.  Lots of people like the Matech, though I think the MBUS is more flexible.

3) Would it be better to just install rear MBUS or should I get rid of the factory fron sight tree? I heard its a pain to remove. I wonder if its worth it.

If you don't have a good reason to remove the front sight base, I'd leave it.  Some people hate seeing it in their optics, but it doesn't bother me.  You can always remove it later, of course.

4) Magpul states the front sight is adjustable for elevation? I thought you only mess with the front sight in conjuction with the A2 8/3 setting?

With the MBUS set (and most BUIS), the front sight is the only elevation adjustment you've got, so you use it to zero elevation at your chosen range.

5) If you can adjust elevation with Magpul front sight is it easier than using standard front sight tree and Matech rear BUS

You still have to adjust the front sight when you zero the Matech or any other rear sight.  Standard front sight or MBUS front are basically the same in regards to zeroing.  So, for Matech, you'd zero elevation at your chosen range using the front sight, then use the Matech dial to adjust for other ranges.

6) They often talk about BUS being cowitness with your optic. With my ACOG my BUS is underneath of ACOG due to it being flush with my charging handle thus I cane not deploy my BUS unless I remove ACOG. You can't co-witness with magnified optics, even with those that can go to 1x, as the front sight isn't in good enough focus, and the eye relief requirements cause the optic to be over the BUIS, like with yours.  You can only use co-witness with non-magnified optics where you can see the front sight clearly through the optic.  For the ACOG, you'd want a QR mount so you could pop it off and flip up the rear when necessary.

Thank you so much for your reply. I do have a QD A.R.M.S mount. Although I wish I had went with the Laru mounts

I just got this rear sight and I want to zero it in.  I'm trying to find a zeroing target for the M4 but all I see is the A2.  I've read it's different but will it really be that off?
