Anyone have one, thoughts????  I just saw these on AIM's site, and thought about picking one up.  I've been wanting a affordable folding rear site, to use with my Vortex Strikefire on my 5.45 AR.....

I have a set on my Spike's .22 upper. They work fine, mount solid, no play.

I got a rear on my RRA, its cool I'm trying to cut down weight any way that I can and I figured it was lighter and infact it is 2/3 less weight than my old troy sight. they are durable as hell also.

Yes. They are very solid/durable. The one thing I dont like is how you have to crank up the front sight post almost to where its sticking up past the ears. Front sight is also not very easy to adjust without a specific tool.
But it does function well.

my friend has one and was real apprehensive at first since it's plastic but he uses it now and hasn't had any issues

I'm using one.... Seems solid enough. The aperture is good.

Just got a set in FDE. I slapped it on my spikes 22. Seems pretty nice, no play.. I like the quick flick. Without sighting it in, it was damn close to accurate at 25 yards.

I happened to talk to magpul today about this sight, they stated that their front sight CAN NOT be mounted on a gas block due to heat issues. Also they stated that the front and rear sight set has to be mounted on the same rail plain or massive apature adjustments will need to be made. The construction is nice, and they work well, and the price is great, just be sure to account for these small quirks on your build.

I agree 100% with this statement.  I have also found that mine do not lay completely flat against the upper when they are folded down.

i am running a rear mbus with a standard a2 front sight.  i have not had to crank the front post up but my mbus does not lay flat on the rceiver.  it is low enough to fit under the aimpoint magnifier though.

Good call on the gas block mounting.  I will have to move mine back!

Wouldn't any sight be subject to that rule?

On some flat-top setups the forward rail sits lower than the upper receiver rail, also, on some rifles with the fixed "A" front site post some rear sights require an offset block to get the rear sight tall enough to line up properly.
