Are the adjustments for these backwards than other front sights?  Typically you turn the post clockwise to raise the POI...CCW to lower.

On the one I have installed on my rifle it seems to be the opposite.  I am turning CCW to raise the POI, and CW lowers it.

I thought at first I was getting myself confused as it was the end of a long shooting session when I started using the rifle that has this on it, but I confirmed it today.  When I turn it CCW, the POI is clearly gaining elevation.

Doesn't the front sight say up with a directional arrow right on the sight itself?

I didn't notice that at first...but there is, and it looks like it is pointing to the right indicating CCW.

ELEVATION ADJUSTMENT
To adjust up-down point of impact (POI), use the Elevation Adjustment Knob in the middle of the Sight Arm. Turn knob in the direction indicated to move the POI up. Turn knob in the reverse direction to move POI down. Make sure knobis fully seated and not in-between positions. Note: Each click adjusts the POI ~1.13 (1 1/8) inches at 100 meters for a typical M4-type Carbine. Your results may vary depending on your weapon and the rail position of your sights (sight radius).
