I have never used a BUIS, so forgive if this is a stupid question.
Will a Magpul MBUS rear sight work with a standard A2 fixed front sight, or do you need to install the MBUS front sight as well?
I am using an Aimpoint optic with a Larue LT150 mount, and would like to keep the standard A2 front sight gas block if possible.

Yes it will work.Bushmaster makes a MOE flat top that comes with a MBUS rear, looks nice!

Yes, it will work with your normal front sight tower.

MBUS works fine with standard A2 fixed front sight as you can see here

I would assume that the mbus is the same as other flip rear sights , you may need a .40 taller front post to get the gun zeroed. if your front sight base has a F on it then your good to go.
