| I am in the middle of my first build and I am trying to put on a Magpul MIAD Grip. When I tighten the screw there is still alot of play in the handle but that screw will not move anymore. Now when I put the A2 handle back on the reciever(pwa) it is solid as a rock. Has this happen to anyone else? Is it me? Any suggestions? I feel like a buffoon but I figured I would throw it out here and see if I can get any suggestions |

The Magpul screw has a ton of loctite on it that makes it hard to screw in. Clean some of it off with a wire brush or you could probably use your old screw. I don't remember if there is any difference or not. This, there is a lot of loctite on the screw... I had the same problem as you did and I just kept turning the screw, eventually you will snug it down. I also wish that they did not use a slot head screw and opted for a hex head. |

I've had the same issue in the past. This probably sounds stupid, but get a big damn screwdriver |
| It is a PWA lower. Funny thing is I put the A2 grip back on it and it is solid as a rock.I can now get the screw all the way in it is just that the rear of the MIAD still wiggles.By that I mean if I push from the back of the handle forward there is still a little play. |

Then the screw is NOT all the way in... Is the screw that came with the MIAD longer than the one that came out of it? |

Quoted: I've put on 3 MIADs and they ALL took a lot more force to turn the screw. To the point I was questioning whether the screw was bottomed out. Once properly tightened though, they were rock solid. never had this problem. Of course most of mine have been installed on 80% lowers that i tapped myself... |
