Can you use a QD swivel with the front attachment point of the MS3 and just use the jaws of the MS3 clip to clip it to the QD swivel loop?

Yes you can and that is what I do when using the ms3 in single point mode.

I am using a MS3 Single QD sling with a Damage Industries QD end plate. I have a small D QD sling swivel on my rail for my sling to clip to. It has worked out pretty good so far. The sling swivel is from DI also.
