Thought I would create a new post to clear up some questions.

1) When is it shipping?
2) BATF Status (yeah, I know we are all smoking crack on this one, although in its shortest config it is longer than a stubby stock - but it looks so menacing)

To the developers, this looks like a revolutionary piece of gear. Strong work.

Probably will still have to buy one. It would just be nice to put it on all my rifles (both pre and post).

We will see how well it handles some abuse in the near future. I'm on the list to receive an experimental version. Be it guns, cars or women, I have a knack at breaking them. [;)]
I'm not talking about abuse either. Simple use on a gun that isn't a safe queen will tell a good tale, and hopefully any bugs can be worked out for when the final release comes out.
I'm hoping it comes next week. So far it has looked very promising, hopefully it performs the same.
I'm confident that it will.

AFAIK, they're waiting for the final model, then they'll submit to ATFE. They also have an idea for a model that requires a tool to lock/ unlock, and might fit the post ban better.
