I am building one and looking for some input from the experts pros cons or other options you might recommend.

It will be going on a RR Varmint.

I have 2, both well worth the money.

It is both heavy and expensive.  The adjustable cheek piece is in the wrong place and there isn't much adjustment in the LOP.  I think they are a waste of money.  Oh, and they are too long.

They start at A2 length and get longer.  WTF?

They start at A1 length and extend about 1" longer than A2 length.  Just received mine last week.  They are expensive and heavy, but very well made and rugged.

I must have long arms or a short neck Because I find all stocks to be about 3/4 an inch to short for me. So I like that extra bit.

It's a little heavy but i don't think you'll be running around with it much.

1.The PRS starts at the A1 length and goes longer than an A2.
2.The cheek piece is just far forward enough to clear the AR15 charging handle with the cheek piece raised.
3.The cheek piece is in the correct place if shooting with lots of large scopes or night vision. If you do not need the cheek piece is goes level with the rest of the stock and is a standard height.

The PRS is designed for a specific mission and if you do not need the cheek riser and need more LOP then we have the UBR.

Magpul I'm thinking that a collapsible PRS would be ridiculously sweet...

The only thing I don't like is the Accu-Shot monopod for the stock. And that has nothing to do with Magpul's stock. The Accu-Shot looks "hung on". The PRS is NICE (heavy but nice).

But you are not selling the UBR yet.

I find that the "perfect" length is the 6-position M4 stock fully contracted with the ProMag recoil pad. I know a lot of people complain that this is "too short" but it is a perfect fit for me (6'3" 145 lb). I liked it so much that I bought an Armalite M4 stock (TDP-compliant) for my carbine.

The SCAR's stock looks great as well: folding and collapsing, so I am anxious to see the SCAR-L and Bushmaster ACR once they hit the shelves.
