Will a Magpul AFG, or AFG2, connect directly to a MOE handguard, or does it require a rail ?

Not 100% on this (i'm sure someone will chime in), but I'd venture to guess you would still need to mount a rail section before being able to mount the AFG.

Unlike the MVG, the AFG require a railed section to attach.

It can be modded to attach directly to the MOE though.
