[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Magpul handguards

I just picked up my first AR, Stag Arms Model 2. I want to add a Magpul forend but don't know if the forend will clear the front sling swivel that sits at 90 degrees. I've seen pictures the way the front of the forend extends a little in front of the handguard cap on the sides. Anyone install the Magpul forend with out having to remove the swivel that sits at 90 degrees?
