I have a Stag collapsible stock right now, if I got a Magpul CTR do I need a new tube and such or can I just get the plastic stock and using the existing tube, nut spring and such?

The CTR will fit just fine on your existing tube.  Just make sure you get teh correct size (milspec vs commercial)
