Been looking around at some the sponsor sights for some mags, quick question.
why are 20rd mags more than 30 rd mags?

Price is determined by how much people are willing to pay.  If something sells for $1.00 why would you sell it for $0.75

Lots of people prefer them = demand.

I like 20's better than 30's for shooting prone because they are shorter.  I have about 100 30's and only about 10 or 15 20's

That they are shorter means they take up less space, reloading is easier in the prone, they look cool...

There is nothing wrong with not owning 20's though, I have dozens of 30's, and dont plan on buying 20's any time soon.

Oh, and, I cant not say PMAG!

And there is quite the clamor for 20 round PMAGs.

Thanks guys helps alot I guess in a carbine class you would need 30's for the amount of shooting you would be doing. I will stay with the 30's and get a dozen or so of 20's just to have.

supply and demand! 20 rnd mags are usually a lot closer to the regular size, 30rnd mags are just really big.

Yeah I bought 5 the other day and they were 1/2 -3/4 inch longer than the other 5 I have, they are made by the same company. Anyone ever notice this.

I think they’re popular now because they’ve been out of production for so long.
