Just starded collecting them.. How many variants are out there?
The comic style one is not in the pic but I have one

There are two or three, IIRC, comic ones form the Nam era. All slightly different.

Just wait it fets bad. I have a manual on combloc weapons that came out in the 60s. The info they had was amazing

If memory serves me correctly there are 3 for the model 601, then from 1964 on there were 2 editions of TM manuals per year (Jan and August) on up to 1970. After 1970 I have no idea. Not sure if I've seen a 1967 manual now that I think of it.

M1, I wonder if 67 is an obscure year due to the Congressional hearings that took place in that year. I believe it was '67 that saw Congress investigating the supposed pitfalls of the m16.
