Why do companies sell barrels with bolts?  Is there any benefit of buying a matching barrel group?

To insure correct headspacing with a new bolt.

But shouldn’t any new bolt in spec have proper headspacing?

Is there any benefit to accuracy by purchasing a bolt and barrel together?

Bolts can wear out. There is a possibility that a bolt can be so used that it will no longer have proper headspacing on a new barrel. Including the bolt with the barrel just assures the buyer that they match/fit properly and are both new.

I got you about the whole bolt wear, old bolts can have issues with headspacing in new barrels.

What I'd really like to know is there any advantage to buying this barrel with a bolt from Noveske or using this  BMC Bolt mated with the Noveske barrel?

Pobably not.

Because it sounds good & they know folks will buy their product based on that part of the advertisement alone. Any new bolt should work with any new barrel...period. They don't need to be "matched" if there is such a thing.

New barrel, new bolt.  Sounds like a good combination.

New block and old pistons, doesn't.
