Hi I have a Matech BIS on my M4 Carbine, I want to zero it at a 5O Yards, not 25 meters. Would I put the Matech on the lowest setting 200 and sight to sight at 50 yards? Also I have a colt 6940 upper with a Matech on it also, but it has a 16in barrel and my M4 has a 14.5in barrel so would it be the same? Want to zero both of them at 50 yards? Thanks any info will help me out.

Zeroing your optics or BUIS at 50 yards will give you the flattest trajectory out to 400 yards.  It will shoot about 1.5" high at 100 yards, but be back to zero at 200 yards without having to adjust your Matech for range at all.
Check this out...clearly explains it in the diagram:
