Well I decided to buy a Mega billet upper and lower set from a local store. I didn't spend  a ton of money on the overall build, I admit, I'm one of those guys that really enjoys AR's but I only get to shoot about 500 rounds a year.

I went with a less expensive build approach, outside of the rather expensive upper/lower.

I used a Palmetto state FN M4 bbl, palmetto/magpul lower parts kit, Seekins rail. Nothing fancy but it came out pretty nice. I also have an eotech 516 for it.

Thanks, im happy with the rail as well.

After looking it over i couldnt figure out what it was missing, then it dawned on me-a company name/logo. Unusual, but very "clean" looking.

Very nice!

What hand guard did you use? Is that a Seekins rail?

If you ever feel like upgrading any of the lower parts, a good trigger makes a HUGE difference

I like it, is that front rail fairly heavy it looks pretty meaty. Hows the balance with that light weight stock?

Actually the rail is very light. A lot of material has been machined out leaving that "scalloped" look. Its the same rail that spikes had sold under their brand name.

That rail matches up great with the mega billet set. But then, I think anything with that mega billet would still look good.
