Is there a differance between Mega lowers and Mega Gator lowers? Hows the quality compared to Stagg, Lauer?? Thanks |
Mega makes their lowers with and without the gator grip. The quality of the Mega equals, or passes any other receiver out there (in my opinion). Mega primarily does work in the aerospace industry for Boeing, and the quality level seems to stay as high for the receivers as it does for their other work. The only down side that some people don't care for is that Mega has the receivers anodized, then teflon coated, which some don't care for. It imparts a bit of a sheen to the finish, but also keeps scratches and marks off it more than regular receivers. |
