| I am interested in the billet Mega lowers that Rainiers Arms has. Does anybody know if they are low or high shelf? |

Not sure what you mean about low or high shelf (High being expensive/good?) but Mega is g2g. They make the lowers for Spikes now. High shelf \ low shelf determines whether or not you can use a RDIAS with the lower. I don't have one, but if I even become independently wealthy, I would like to get one. |
| I had three early MEGAs that I installed LPKs into. They were all super tight and wouldn't drop PMAGs. I called them a month ago, sent in my lowers, and had them returned with PMAG dropping new ones. They even went so far as to install new parts in my lowers. What did this cost me? Shipping. I am more than satisfied with their customer service beyond a beautiful fit and finish. |
| Mega lowers are very nice - I would recommend them highly - they also manufacture for a couple of other companies such as Spikes (I think, dont quote me on that) and Red River Tactical - I've got several buddies with Mega lowers and I have three Red River Tactical lowers - all high quality and will fit all parts - go for it |
| I had a couple of thier earlier lowers with serial numbers in the 600s with a high shelf. The newer ones have low shelf and that's what I use for my RDIAS and that lower rocks. I have used it with over half a dozen uppers (short and long barrels, 223, 7.62x39, 9mm, 22lr, etc.) and it works flawlessly without any shims. I can't wait to get my hands on a matching billet set - the one without the curved trigger guard. |

they have the new billet upper and lower combo up on gunbroker Here it is for anyone looking...... Mega Billet Combo |
| How long has MEGA been making Spike's uppers and lowers? Does anyone know if uppers and lowers made by MEGA, for Spike's, are completely machined and finished by MEGA? What I'm getting at is whether, or not, there are different specs or grades of MEGA produced products. |
