My humble contribution. I've actually sold the LWRC upper and the ISM-V, the two only ever came together for a quick photo; but I always though this was a great looking setup, so I figured I'd share.
I'm currently waiting for a new mid-length upper form PSA. It's basically going to be the exact same thing, but DI...

You're correct about the bullet button being installed. Even the Pmag is a 10-20 version; blocked for 10 rounds max and permanetly sealed per state law. (Oh what a joy to live in the peoples republic of CA ... right?) Notice the little NIB on the front of the mag? It's on all my mags; its to engage the bullet button for mag releases. |

Your build came out great. Did you change the optics by now? |
Here is my fixed stock lightweight midlength. The upper is a Daniel Defense lightweight mid gas barrel with DD BCG, and a “Model 1” 9mm upper I drilled for the gas tube. Lower is an 80% that has been modified to A1 specs and outfitted with a Colt LPK and A1 milsurp stock. I was going for extreme reliability, simplicity and lightweight. Just a hair over 6 pounds as pictured with the shown 20 round loaded magazine. I have almost 1K rounds thru it with no issues of any kind. I also have an Aimpoint PRO optic I stick on when I want to hang out with the cool kids...

Swapped out an old barrel and gas block and put in a new trigger from CMC. Extremely light and soft shooting. The DD Lightweight barrel is dead-nuts accurate too. |

A mid-length gas system with a rifle length buffer system is one of the softest shooting combos out there.

Been considering dropping my MOE stock and going to an A2 or similar but am still deciding. Would need to recut foam and refigure out my sling configuration since I'm running an ASAP and MS3. I love the MOE stock set, but like the simplicity of the A1/2 stocks. |

Well….I did some changing around on my fixed stock middy. Like a lot of us, I thought I had it configured the way I wanted. Then I saw the extended Apex handguard and realized I had a bit more work to do….then a good deal on a T1 came my way and my trusted PRO was switched out for a T1 on a DD mount.
Still looking at white lights, but in the meantime I have a old Surefire 6P I can bolt on if needed. The Apex is strictly amazing. Light, super stiff and it had the two things I wanted – it had a small outside diameter and it extended past the FSB giving me more hand room. NOW I am done! (I hope)  " target="_blank">

I know crappy pictures, just a day at the range sighting in ACOG and cleaning afterwards. Its a BCM HF upper with DD Lite rail and a DPMS lower with cheap A2 Stock. The upper normally sits on a S&W lower with a LMT SOPMOD but I think I may swap out the buttstock on the S&W for a A2 or a A1 length and keep it like that. I forgot how soft the recoil is on this setup and I like it. |
