It's .750 at the gas block but you can't beat the price. |

Looks good! I lust after your slip ring as I have just the build for it, let me know if you want to trade it out for a newer looking one.
I say go with the XM look and have the barrel cut down. I will post a picture of mine then here in a bit but I used the same barrel and HG for it. |

I noticed the slip ring too.

OP: I like the cut down triangle hand guards, someone posted one recently with a "CH" forge code upper and I thought it was a really nice look. |

Sucks when you have to use a 602 carrier as a stand in...first world problems and all As for the upper to lower issue. Are you planning on keeping that lower with that upper? I would assume that you want to be able to put the SP1 back to stock if you wanted to and if so then ignore my next sentence. If that upper is going to be mated to that lower you could have a bushing inserted for both of them that would then allow you to use a 601 style non-captive pin. There is a guy m60joe or something that does them for registered receiver SP1s so they can then use any upper. I have no idea how much that would run you but I think a cheaper and better option would be to order up a NoDak lower and then either put your SP1 back to stock if you can and want to or sell that lower if the screw pin bothers you. |

The plan is to build several large hole uppers to go on my SP1 lowers. I always want to keep the ability to return my SP1's back to stock. All I did to this one was swap out the receiver extension. As for the 602 bolt carrier, I literally spent the last of my money on this parts lot, so it will have to do for now. :) http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss208/BigRix/null_zps55504565.jpg Oh My! That's just soooooooo WRONG! Show off! |
