How many inches of barrel stick out past the FSB on a standard 16" midlength AR15? Thanks to the person that answers the question!

okay, home now... from the fsb to the end of the barrel is 4 and 5/8 inches.  from the fsb to teh end of the A2 flashhider is 5 and 15/16 inches.

Well, the length can be different if you use a different muzzle device, but the fsb to the end of the barrel should be the same on all... that is if my trusty green painted wood ruler is as trusty as I think...

From your post above your ruler might be broken. The lenght maybe shorter than you think Just ask my wife what 8 inches looks like!

My ArmaLite middy is 5.75 at the end A2 flash suppressor.

It's the same as an 20" A2. I think so at least, because they are the right length to attach a bayonet.

Close, the mid length is about a 1/4" shorter.

Mounting a bayonet on both will illustrate the difference in length btw an A2 and Mid
