[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mil-Spec Buffer Tube

Excuse my noobieness, but I am unsure with this one.

I have a Bushmaster Patrolman ar15, does it have a commercial buffer tube on it?

If it does, all I need is a mil-spec buffer tube to put a mil-spec stock on it, correct?

Is this a good mil-spec buffer tube to get if I need it? Mil-Spec Buffer Tube

I think it's already mil-spec. But you can compare for yourself.

The Bushmaster Patrolman comes with a commercial receiver extension (buffer tube). All you will need to replace to put a milspec stock on it is a milspec receiver extension.

Yes the mil-spec from DSA arms is GTG.

I stand corrected on the tube. You should be able to re-use the buffer and the spring.

Ok thanks guys, I purchased the DSA tube and a Magpul ACS stock. Can't wait.
