i'm pretty sure the DSA is mil-spec; not sure on the oly, for some are, some arnt (like the cast ones)

Who makes "mil-spec" lowers?

Colt makes the M4 lower and FN Herstal makes the M16 lower.

Neither are  available to the public.

These are the only "Mil-spec" lowers.



edited to add: If it doesn't have an NSN, it's not "Mil-spec"

It seems nowadays, anything black that will fit on to or is part of an AR-15 is considered "milspec".  I'm finding out that the term milspec is a term used very loosely these days.
