I contacted Mr.Giordani about the use of Militec-1 grease, and he said they have no information about the use of the militec-1 grease on Firearms.
He recommended that I continue to use my Tetra grease when needed.
So I would say no.

I'm sure you can use it where grease would be called for.  I'll have to wait until I get my new AR upper to get an impression, but it's performed excellent in my M1A (is there an M14/M1A forum around here?)

It looks like I'm using my rifle as a guinea pig, I'll have to see what happens after I put more rounds through her, I only put 60 through her after the initial application.

Phish,I also tried it on my Garand and it worked just as well as anything else. That was before I asked Militec-1.
But to me it does just as well as Lubriplate or Tetra.
For that application I think grease is grease.I will not buy any until they say yes to firearms use with the militec grease.I used my sample up and no problems.
