I've been looking (on the web) at Millet DMS scopes for general range blasting, nothing really serious.

Doe anyone hace experience with these?

I have had one for several years, no problem, been very reliable

I had one for 2 hours and took it back. I loved the price and the reticle design but it felt cheap, it wasn't bright enough with the red reticle turned on and I would loose the reticle in bright day light.

This was for a .22LR plinker and I wan't trying got get a world-class optic on a shoestring budget. I ended up getting the Bushnell 1-4 PCL. I still am in awe of all the features that you get with that optic at a $300 price point.

I like them, but they are large and heavy for what they are. Primary Arms has, or used to have, a 1-4x that was supposed to be the same scope, with different reticle.

Do not use it on a .308.

There are better scopes in the price range, check the cheap 1-4x thread.

I didn't care for the reticle, personally.  On the first one that I examined, the power adjustment was VERY stiff, others less so.  Here are reviews from customers:

The equivalent Burris has much clearer glass.  I was lucky to see them side by side and took the Millet off my wish list.
