[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Millet DMS zeroing issue

I have a Millet DMS 1-4x on my Armalite M15. I can get it close at 100 yrds, but no cigar and not repeatable. I believe the reticle should be brighter also. Anyone else have issues with this particular scope? The base is a Weaver one piece.
It took me all of 5 shots to get my Mossberg MMR with a Nikon scope to do POA/POI with a Nikon 223 scope/base.
I'm about ready to return this scope. Any ideas?

Mine is repeatable all day and relatively decent glass for the price.

You might have a lemon.

If all else is good and the scope still doesn't do its job, send it back.

Or, it might be loose. Check to make sure it is tight in the mount, and the mount is tight on the gun.

What torque value did you tighten the rings caps and the mount itself to?

Mount is tight, did not use a torque wrench on it. I'm going to try again on the next dry day.
