Hawg,
I asked this same question a few days ago. I got no replies. I don't think any folks on this board use Millett optics. That pretty much tells me what I need to know...

I had a Millet Silver 3X9-40 on a Mini 30 I sold.  This optics were clear for the money.  It held zero as well as I could tell on the Mini. The combination of the recoil and driving 4 wheel drive roads with the rifle in the back of my 4 runner dislodged one of the inner peices of glass after a couple months and a couple thousand rounds.  Millet replaced the scope quick with no trouble at all with out any proof of purchase.  The second scope was fine when I sold the rifle.  I have a Burris Fulfield II on My AR and it is superior in every way for another $50.

My .02,

Travis

I have a buddy who just bought a Millet 3-9X40 and put it on a Ruger 10-22.  He's shot several hundred rounds out of it and it appears to be a good quality scope for the money.  Midway had a sale on them last month and he got his cheap.  They remind me of Burris scopes for some reason, the Millet and the Burris scopes all seem heavy for their size.

I agree about them being heavy. I'm buying a Burris 1.5x6x28mm and it weighs almost as much as a 3.5x10 Loopie! I was interested in the 1.5x6x44 Millet but I don't want an objective that large and they don't make one smaller in the same variable powers.
I'm gonna spend damn near $400 on the Burris but I'm sure I'll be happy with it. I might even spring for the Electro dot. Anyone use one?
