I was just looking at a 30mm tube Millett scope on MidwayUSA and wondering if anyone had any experience with these?

The 2 reviews were positive, but I never know whether or not to believe those.

I have a Millett 4x16x50 w/target turrets and side parallax on my FN .308 bolt action.
It's been on there for a year now and has held zero fine.
Light transition is a little off around the edges but for a $300 scope I'm happy w/it.

I have a 30mm Millet Red Dot ($80) and find that it works fine out to 50 yards and holds zero on my M4. I use a S.P.O.T. ($149) more often because the dot is a bit better. I put the Millet on my 10/22 and my 16-year-old daughter shot the middle out of the target at 25 yards.

Indeed, try out the Millet before you invest in EOTechs, and the like, to make sure you like a red dot. If you buy a better one later, you can always the Millet off and keep as a backup or put it on another rifle, or sell it and still get $50 for it.
