Can I use a Mini-14 mag in an AR-15? I know the Mini-14 has a little hole that has to fit the gun. Just wondering in case of an emergency magazine load.

Probably not.

Ramline once made some plastic combo mags. I never had ANY luck with them in an AR15.

No. The Mini-14 mags have the little tab on the back that locks the magazine in like on an M-14 mag.

The Mini-14 mag is narrower than the M16/AR-15 mag. There is no way to lock it in the mag well.

The old Ramline "Combo Mags" did not work well in either rifle.

I had 1 "Combo Mag" worked fine for me until the feed lip broke

I think that if the Mini-14 used AR mags it would be a better gun to own. I had a lot fun with my mini but I hated the mags. Very unreliable.

+1 I want one o the new minies but for the mag issue
