Was swapping scopes around and had to move my QD PEPR mount to another rifle. I pushed one of the locking pins, for the quick release adjustment nuts, into the base. Aren't those pins spring loaded?

Looked for similar complaints and was surprised at the # of bad reviews for the pepr.

The pins are NOT spring loaded.

You have to flip the lever to the open position and push the lever in toward the nut. This disengages the pin from the nut to allow you to turn/adjust it.

I was not pleased with the QD function, I called Burris and they sent  the parts to convert to
the normal mount. (with the nuts) (Free)
