I'd think the same holds true for the RC2, but no direct experience on my part. |

What is the difference in endcaps for the MAWL? They offer 2 versions (EC1 and EC2) but I don’t see the difference.

Raytheon/Elcan do not repair optics at all, commercial or military. The only repair I'm aware they will actually do is upgrading or replacing the illumination module and that is actually contracted out to an Armament Technology subcontractor Safeware. From what I was told these units are not meant to be reopened to ever be reworked on, so those under warranty, commercial or military, I believe are just replaced and the old units trashed. If someone wants to correct me, by all means please do, but this was the word directly from Raytheon Elcan when I wanted to see if they could replace an ocular lens on one of my units a few years back. It basically sounded like a life time warranty from the people that have had to deal with them and some of the time frames they posted. |

Having a brain fart...I thought I remembered reading that the Elcan on the Mk18s used the 762 reticle/markings? Pretty sure I'm going to snag one of those from DVOR, but want to make sure I grab the right one.
