WOO! 8 months after submitting my first Form 1 I got the approval email this morning. Submitted 20 June 2016 while I was deployed via eForms with a trust. Approved 15 Feb 2017. The PDF they attached in the email has the tax stamp in the top right behind the "Tax Paid" marking. Do I need to wait for a physical piece of mail with the tax stamp? My lower needs to be engraved anyways and I need to send the upper off to ADCO for a chop.

This, more often than not, is the case...with any non-standard accessory. With respect to Pigs, we still have a couple of Flaming Pigs floating around. Someone thought they might be good at directing muzzle flash/blast downrange...they weren't. Unless someone specifically asks an armorer to remove it, they get passed along. |

I really like the config as does anybody that shoots it. I used a Colt 6921SP upper (factory 10") and the gas port is HUGE! I'm running an H3 buffer and a Springco Orange (308) spring. Even with that it'll cycle Wolf with no can and gas with the can is acceptable. View Quote I poo-poo'ed on the whole mini-recce thing until I tried it... a suppressed 10-10.5 inch upper with an ACOG/reflex combo is really hard to beat if you want a 300 meter gun in a tiny package... plus with everyone mounting their optics higher... the reflex on top of the acog is just the right height... also, it blooms a little bit, but the reflex is totally usable under head mounted NODs, although an adjustable RMR would be better... the JPoints and burris MRDs are good to go Might reconfigure my second MK18 back to a mini recce... as it sits now, I have two wearing aimpoints and the second never gets shot really |

you do know the Titan Defense upper receivers are higher than a mr556/416 and won't work with aftermarked 416 rails correct?

I plan on running a riser so I am not concerned about this. |

I'm reasonably certain that they weren't but were Mod 0s ever built on A2 profile lowers or were they all A1?

I bought this upper because it is the cheapest way to get a semi close 416 clone, I have plenty of other guns so if this one breaks it breaks but it wont be the end of the world to me. Battlefield has had great luck with their TD415 upper so I am not really concerned. |
