Wanted one of these Navy carbines ever since I saw the ships security armed with them when a Navy vessel came into port in Long Beach.  The navy "builds" these by putting the LMT upper and stock on existing Colt lowers. So i went the same route.

Colt Lower (correct)
LMT SOPMOD stock (correct)
LMT upper (correct)
16" LMT 1:7 Brl (Incorrect/Damn california SBR laws!)
LMT BUIS (correct)
KAC Rail (correct)
KAC vert grip (correct)
Surefire 6v light (incorrect tail cap)
Aimpoint CompM2
Larue Mount (incorrect, should be wilcox)
KAC sling mount (incorrect)

Big thanks to my local kitchen table LMT dealer who gave me an unbelivable price on the LMT top half.

I built a Mk18 mod 0 that is a exact clone except for the lower, no happy switch.

Damn you NFA.

OP nice rifle.  But I thought one of the main features of the Mk18 Mod 0 was the 10.3" barrel.

Of course, but due to state law I don't have that option.

Cool.  Like I said, it's a beautiful rifle, and I didn't see any state in your profile
