Does anybody know anything about these guns? Quality? Performance?

I built one of their 16in HBAR kits.  I had pretty good luck with everything except the lower parts kit, couple pieces were out of spec.  I ended up getting a RRA lower kit and never looked back.

I have a 20" upper from them, very accurate, nice finish and will eat anything I feed it.
Would definitely buy from them again.

Upper receivers and barrels are OK.

Bolt carrier groups, charging handles, and lower parts kits, as well as some collapsible stocks, are not OK.

I would agree with that statement. Their parts are third class citizens. I've seen some rough stuff from them.

Ok, so i have decided to get a upper half from model 1 to help put together my first AR and had a couple questions. If i get a A3 i will need to get a rear site and was wondering if the $165 tactcal remove able handle was worth the money.? figure it would save me from having to get a flip down and a removable rear/front site when i want to put a scope on it.  if i put i scope on a standard a3 is a regular front sight going to completely block my view?I probably will go with the standard a2 or a3 with a fold down rear sightYHM one ne good?).  but any opinions to help me form my decision will be appreciated.
thanks
