[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model 1 Upper?

Looking for a review on these uppers? Are they Good to go? Or should i look into geting a different upper?

Their uppers and barrels aren't horrible. I'd definitely ream the chamber before shooting 5.56. I also wouldn't buy anything but an upper from them, their BCGs, LPKs and charging handles, stocks etc are all trash.

I just recieved my upper tonight.(20" heavy barrel minus the BCG) I figured I would go with another BCG as I have heard they have been suspect. I thought of getting a A2 butt stock and maybe a charge handle from them though. What do you see as being garbage about them.

A2 buttstock would probably be OK.

Buy a forged charging handle.

Don't buy M1S charging handles.

I would steer away from M1S. Front sight post and mag catch is way less than par in my experience.

they are the only ones I could find with a shot of getting a 11.5in 7.62 upper. I just hope they don't charge my card until it ships since there seems to be no indication of wait or turnaround time on their website.
