[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Moly?

Anyone out here test moly rounds for accuracy, everything else equal? I tried both Black Hills blue box 68gr HP moly and regular out of my gun and it seems that the moly stuff groups looser. It was shot on different days so it's not conclusive. Just checking for similar experiences.

Well...not sure if this helps you or not, but the USMC Marksmanship Team uses the Black Hills 77gr OTM Moly-coated round to compete with. So....I guess I'm sure it groups juuuust fine.

When I get home from work...I'll post a pic of the round and the box.

I've used some Black Hills 68-gr and 77-gr moly coated .223 ammo and it groups nicely.
